Light Up the Mill 2020

The tradition of lighting the windows at the Belknap Mill will begins November 1st.

Candle lights are placed in each of the 122 windows adorning the Mill. In the past the lights were switched on at the same time; the Sunday after Thanksgiving in coordination with the Busiel Mill, who also light each of their windows. The lights brighten Beacon Street East through the holiday season and into late January.

For our 2nd Annual Light Up the Mill event we invite you to help brighten the windows of the Mill! Your donation will switch on your candlelight and help keep it lit until January 2021. We invite you to dedicate your light to a loved one, to celebrate through the light a special event from the past year or a special person you hold dear or share your light as a wish for the upcoming year. You can choose to make your donation anonymous or allow us to share it through social media.

Candle lights will be switched on as donations are made. Help us have all lights lit by November 29th when the Busiel Mill turns on their lights and Laconia celebrates lighting up our city with the Light Up Laconia Holiday Celebration and Parade.
